Managed Kubernetes

Get started with modern cloud-native architecture—high-performance, secure, and hosted in Germany.

With our open Kubernetes platform

Get started with cloud-native workloads today!

ScaleUp's Managed Kubernetes runs entirely in German data centers—in compliance with German data protection laws and without relying on U.S. hyperscalers.

You retain control over your workloads: no proprietary control plane, no hidden API lock-ins, no data transfers to third countries. The ecosystem remains open—from the CI/CD pipeline to monitoring.

Vendor-Neutral

Kubernetes is fully OOpen source. No proprietary APIs, no forced dependencies—your workloads remain portable.

Flexible

Thanks to automatic scaling up and down based on load and automatic restarts in the event of errors, your applications remain available at all times.

Sovereign

Your data remains in German data centers, is processed in accordance with German law (GDPR-compliant), and is not accessible to third countries.

Managed

We handle the control plane, updates, patches, and monitoring. You deploy—we keep the cluster running.

Managed by ScaleUp

Cluster operations, control plane upgrades, node patching—we'll take care of that. Your team can focus on the applications.

ScaleUp Managed Kubernetes is a production-ready platform for cloud-native workloads: fully operated in German data centers, with no administrative overhead on your part.

Certified & Standardized

ScaleUp Managed Kubernetes is based on the Sovereign Cloud Stack (SCS)—an open standard that defines uniform APIs and operational standards, thereby ensuring portability across providers.

SCS and Kubernetes are in the Germany Stack established as mandatory standards. Those who build on this foundation now will avoid the effort of migration later on.

Frequently Asked Questions

Kubernetes is open-source software for orchestrating modern container workloads.

We operate the Kubernetes control plane with high availability—including backups and security patches. Compute, networking, and storage are provided by our SCS-certified IaaS platform.

"Cloud-native" refers to modern applications designed to run on standardized platforms such as Kubernetes

In addition to the Managed Control Plane (cluster), individual cloud resources for workers, storage, and the network are billed on an hourly basis. If usage remains consistent, it is also possible to purchase resource packages.

GitOps describes infrastructure and deployments declaratively as code—versioned in a Git repository, just like software code. Tools such as Flux or ArgoCD continuously compare the actual state of your cluster with the defined target state and automatically correct any deviations.

The result: a transparent change history, reproducible deployments, and fewer manual interventions in cluster operations.

We always provide the latest versions of Kubernetes. You can easily update your clusters via our dashboard. Security updates and bug fixes can be applied automatically during a maintenance window of your choice.

Yes. Kubernetes clusters can be connected to existing infrastructure via private network connections—whether colocation, dedicated servers, or cross-site connections. Hybrid setups are a common starting point for companies that are gradually migrating toward cloud-native architectures without having to replace existing systems right away.

Kubernetes prices

Our cloud resources are tracked and billed on an hourly, usage-based basis. This means you only pay for what you actually use.

If you'd like, we can create a custom quote with specified minimum purchase quantities.
