Where do our components and Open Compute Servers come from?
We work with various European and international suppliers who provide us with new and refurbished computing, storage and network components. Many products are available from stock and can be delivered within a few days.
Our refurbished servers are on average 2 years old and designed for 24/7/365 data center operation and high-performance computing scenarios. They have a new hard disk, have been thoroughly tested beforehand and are no less reliable in operation than new servers. In return, they help to avoid e-waste and significantly reduce Scope 3 emissions in data centers (up to 60 percent less emissions).
