Expansion of the Hamburg Hammerbook data center

The colocation area in the ScaleUp data center in Hamburg Hammerbrook was recently expanded. An adjacent area could be used as an expansion area by removing a wall. On this expansion area 12 new server cabinets were placed.

Delivery by Rittal

After Rittal delivered the colocation racks, they were set up in the new space and then connected accordingly. Power connections were already available in the raised floor, and the power strips in the racks were then connected to these. At ScaleUp, each colocation rack is connected redundantly (A+B supply) to two independent power distribution units (PDUs).

Installation of the server cabinets

After completion of the network pre-cabling, the first racks were already handed over to customers at the end of April.
