ScaleUp Technologies is speaker at the OpenStack Summit in Austin and organizer of the networking event [mk_highlight text="German OpenStack Mixer" text_color="#ffff" bg_color="#FEC83E" font_family="none"]. With the informal evening event ScaleUp wants to promote the exchange and mutual networking among German-speaking OpenStack users.

OpenStack Summit 2016 Austin
From April 25-29, 2016, the OpenStack Summit will take place in Austin, Texas. The four-day conference will bring together several thousand international interested and active users of the open source cloud management solution, OpenStack, in Austin to learn about the latest feature updates and best practices through technical papers, case studies and short seminars. More than 70 topics were presented in the category "Case Studies" submitted. ScaleUp will be launched on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, between 12:05-12:45 p.m. (CDT) on the subject "Learnings of a service provider building an OpenStack cloud from scratch" talk. The goal is to share best practices for cloud service providers based on their own experiences with OpenStack. The focus of the talk will be:
- Important questions and influencing factors when implementing a customized OpenStack Cloud solution
- Ways to ensure scalability of own cloud with simultaneous cost focus
- Strategies for a redundant setup of the cloud and sufficient testing
German OpenStack Mixer
The "German OpenStack Mixer", for which ScaleUp is sponsoring the location and drinks, will take place on the evening of the 3rd Summit day (Wednesday, 27.04.2016, in the time from 17-19h) in the Stephen F's Bar & Terrace, at the InterContinental Hotel Austin ( InterContinental Hotel Austin - 701 Congress Ave, Austin, TX 78701 - Show map) takes place.
